can you add this picture at this link website to my other review I just turned in please? https://jrh794.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/fast-fractions-easy-system/ I don't recommend the crisscross no applesauce method much but there are some rare students who tend to like it better than the reciprocal method from what I've seen. That was the only reason I mentioned it. Thanks. I did try attaching the photo and it wouldn't let me.

This guide presents accurate and quick information and helps with an easier introduction on the topic of fractions. I did notice something about the adding and subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions sections though that I would things added too if it was me. in the addition and subtraction area I would add the words under the part of adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators, to use the crisscross applesauce method as that is the method used for its example 3/4 + 2/3. For the multiplying fractions section under "finding the product of two fractions" I would put to use the "applesauce" method as shown in example 2/5 x 1/2. in the division section I would add in the other method of dividing fractions that was not mentioned at all. the "crisscross no applesauce" method. ex. 3/5 divided by 7/8 = 24/35 [shown on picture below]. I mention these three phrases because they greatly help my students to remember the processes and steps for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions in a fun and easy way, even when doing tests. I would recommend one of these for kids just starting fractions in math, for it is a great and helpful guide that makes what could be complicated lessons and homework into something to enjoy.
